It is important for proper sun protection that UV swimwear is not stretched in use (larger sizes also accommodate growth!). Please call us if you are unsure, or would like specific guidance.

Children differ in size and these are averages for the age group.
With any 100% cotton garment some shrinkage must be anticipated after the first wash and patterns are cut generously to allow for this. Also, with hand made products there may be small differences between garments of the same size.
