About Us
The Beach Factory was founded in the UK in 2003 to offer fashionable and functional UV swimwear for children. Sun protection swimwear is still the core business but we have expanded rapidly (thanks to the thousands of customers who buy from us each year!) to offer a broad range of holiday products throughout the year for adults, teens and young children.
We also work with some of the larger NHS cancer units in hospitals around the country and donate UV swimwear to help generate awareness about the importance of sun protection.
Internet retailing is a competitive business and we try to set ourselves apart by giving our customers an efficient and first class service, with orders usually despatched by the next working day. People return to us year after year because, given how frantic it can be getting things ready for a holiday, it's reassuring to know that The Beach Factory is reliable.

The Seafolly jacket was great on my boat trip - it allowed me to sit in the sun for longer than would ever have been possible with sun lotion and meant I could effortlessly slip into the water without a thought to do a spot of swimming or snorkelling. I ordered a blue O Neill UV top for our Christmas holiday in Mauritius and my 9 year old wore it the entire time - he loved it! It ment far less suncream for him and it dried in the few minutes he was out of the sea or the pool. Next time I will be ordering them for my teenage boys too! Thank you Beach Factory!

I was slightly nervous dealing with a website that I had found using Google, but that was unfounded and I have been very happy with the items I purchased. The only slight issue that I have had is the shirt that I bought for my son. He is just about to turn 8 so I bought the 7-8 as I figured that the 9-10 would be far too big. It fits adequately, but had I been able to see it prior to purchase, I perhaps would not have bought as it is a little on the small size. But I guess that is the hazard of buying online!
